Why, oh why would I want to install a drip irrigation system?! Well, how about this: Save money, save time, save your back, and save the planet while having the best-looking plants on the block – and I’m not even kidding! Alfred Castillo here, the Sprinkler Warehouse Pro. Let’s get started!

You take pride in your little green darlings, right? So, you want to give them the best. Well, it turns out in this case the best also happens to be pretty simple. I’m talking drip irrigation systems. To begin, a drip irrigation system. Some folks also call it a trickle system. Is not for lawns. It is, however, just what you need for your flower beds, container plants, trees, and your veggie garden.  You can even install one on your birdbath.

Top-Rated Efficiency

Well, how does it save water? By delivering a slow, drip, drip, drip of water directly to your plant’s root zone and NOT everywhere else. It’s amazingly efficient, and your plants will love you for it. And guess what – you’re not watering the sidewalk, the weeds, the street, the patio, your neighbor. Now, if you find this relaxing and satisfying and you’ve always got time to get it done then stop the video now. If you want an easy-breezy way to protect all the hard work you put in planting those hydrangeas, not to mention the hard-earned money you spent on those azaleas and sago palm, and you want the satisfaction of great curb appeal and a lush backyard garden retreat, then get a drip irrigation system now!

Easy, Affordable Installation

But can I afford it? Unless you’re made of money, you CAN’T NOT afford it. Drip irrigation is the cheapest, the easiest, and the MOST EFFICIENT watering system. How easy? How about installing one without touching a shovel!? Here’s your basic setup: From the outside faucet, you’ve got your backflow preventer, your filter, your pressure regulator, and your tubing adapter. From there, you’ve got your drip tubing then emitters and finally the endcap. We provide kits that include all of this, and this entire setup is made to be installed right on top of the ground. You can also purchase a kit that will attach to your existing sprinkler system. It’s a retrofit kit that will replace a sprinkler head. How cool is that?!

The emitters are where the magic happens. There are different types and IF you decide to bury your system – I mean, personally, I wouldn’t – but if you do, you’ll need a specific type of emitter for underground use. In that case, you’re looking for the word “Subsurface” in the description. You can also use connectors like this to branch off in different directions. Now if you really want to get fancy, you can hook up a timer or even a fertilizer kit to your drip irrigation system.
