Home > The K-Rain MiniPro Adjustable Arc Rotor

In this video, we’re going to discuss a few of the features of the K-Rain 13003 MiniPro Rotor, show you how to change out a nozzle, and make some adjustments. I’m Dwayne Smith, your Sprinkler Warehouse product specialist. Let’s get started.

MiniPro Features

The K-Rain MiniPro Adjustable Arc Rotor is a smaller rotor perfect for small lawns and courtyard areas. It has a watering distance of 17 to 30 feet – that’s a bit smaller distance than your typical rotors. It has a half-inch inlet similar to most spray heads. This MiniPro is both an adjustable pattern rotor and a continuous 360° rotor. In one, you can set the pattern anywhere from 40 to 360°. When you set it to 360°, it goes around in a continuous circle. One of the cool features of this little rotor is this little arrow that tells you where the pattern is set. This rotor comes with this set of nozzles and the flow rate on the nozzles matches to the K-Rain ProPlus, which means that this rotor can be used in the same zone with the full-size rotors.

MiniPro Adjustments

So let’s talk about the various adjustments. You’ll use a rotor key like this one to work with this rotor. Looking at the top of the rotor, this is the radius adjustment slot. This right here is the keyhole. Use the key in there, turn, and pull up on the riser. This is the adjustment slot. Once again, use the key for that and make your adjustments. Now, let’s go work with one that’s already installed outside.

Replacing A MiniPro Nozzle

We’ll begin by changing out a nozzle.

  1. Put the K-Rain key in the keyhole slot. Turn the key and pull up on the riser.
  2. While holding the rotor up with your hand, back out the radius adjustment screw.
  3. Once you’ve got the screw out of the way, pull out the nozzle with a pair of needle-nose pliers.
  4. Insert the new nozzle. Screw back down the radius adjustment screw and you can let the riser back down.
  5. Use the key once again to turn the radius adjustment screw to set your watering distance. You want the water from this head to reach the next head over.
  6. Now let’s check the pattern, also called the arc, to change the pattern. We’ll use the key to turn this slot right here. Notice the arrow moving to indicate the pattern. And that is the MiniPro by K-Rain. Order your MiniPros today.
