Adrian Sanchez here, the Sprinkler Warehouse Pro. I wanted to make this short little video on Nipple Extractors. Let’s get started.
How To Use A Nipple Extractor
So when the nipple riser breaks off leaving a chunk of it down in the hole, you need a nipple extractor, a.k.a. stub wrench to get it out. So watch this. Push down. Find the hole in the broken piece. Twist it out, while keeping downward pressure. And done. This little thing makes short work of what could be a real pain.
You’ll need the correct size for the nipple riser you’re trying to extract. One of the ones that we sell is for half-inch and three-quarter-inch nipple risers. And different one that extracts 1-inch, and 1 ¼- inches. So, if you’re a homeowner, you’ll most likely only need the half and three-quarter-inch one. 1-inch risers are pretty commercial.
We also have a sweet little kit that includes a half-inch and three-quarter-inch nipple riser extractors. It also has a ratcheting pipe cutter, screwdriver, for adjusting sprinkler heads, and some Teflon tape.
Remember, Sprinkler Warehouse has everything for your irrigation needs. So, your trees, lawn, flower beds, and gardens are lush and beautiful.
